How to Donate

Practical Supplies

When you donate practical items, they go directly to the participants we serve, ensuring that your contributions make an immediate impact. 

The items we need most urgently include:

  •  Soap bars
  • Tooth brushes
  • Tooth paste
  • Socks
  • Underwear
  • Shampoo and Conditioner
  • Body wash
  • Gift cards for Tim Horton’s, Giant Tiger, Dollarama, grocery or drug stores 

Drop Off Information

All donations can be delivered to:

154 Somerset Street West, Ottawa ON
Monday to Friday between 8am and 1pm

Ring the doorbell, and staff will be excited to receive these essential items that are so important to the people we serve.

Volunteer your time

We know that the most valuable gift you can give is your time!  Have you considered volunteering at one of our programs, or on our Management Board ? Many of our volunteers say it is the most rewarding thing they do! Reach out to our Volunteer Coordinator and get ready to share your talents.

Donate money

We are very grateful for the wide variety of donated items given generously. We are perhaps stating the obvious here, but any cash donation you can make will help improve our program delivery and will immediately be used where it is most needed. A tax-deductible charitable receipt will be provided for any cash donations received.

How Donations Help

With every $12 donated we can feed someone in the community 3 meals per day.

With $200 we can provide 150 people with dry socks

Love to cook? $180 can fund a Community Kitchen Day!

With $350 we can feed one of our neighbours for a month.

With a $50 donation we can provide bus fare to 15 people attending medical appointments.

With $250 we can provide winter gloves to 100 people

A gift of $100 can help us top-up our supplies of board games and puzzles to reduce social isolation

Your donations help us provide warm safe supervised indoor respite cots.

$300 pays for first aid and harm reduction supplies across our programs for a whole month.

If you donate $40 we can provide a person experiencing homelessness with showers and laundry for a week.
